## What you get

- **Search every ending at once.** One search shows which endings are free and your yearly price for each, with WHOIS privacy priced alongside.
- **Check a whole list.** Check up to 100 exact names in one call, or paste a list or a CSV into Bulk import in the dashboard.
- **Register and renew from your wallet.** Each registration is paid from your prepaid wallet and recorded as a sale to your customer, at their price.
- **Free DNS with every domain.** New domains come with hosted DNS and nameservers, and records you can manage from the dashboard.
- **WHOIS privacy where the ending allows it.** See what privacy costs on each ending before you buy, and turn it on by default for every order.
- **Safe to retry.** Every order is one API call with an idempotency key, so a retry never registers or charges twice.

## How a sale goes

1. **Search a name.** Bare name or full domain: every ending on offer comes back with its price.
2. **Register for a customer.** Set your registrant once as the account default, then each order is a name and a customer.
3. **Manage it to the end.** Renew, change DNS and nameservers, and see the domain through its whole life.

## Questions

### Is there a domain reseller API?

Yes. POST /v1/domains/check prices names across every ending, and POST /v1/domains registers one for a customer from your wallet, with an Idempotency-Key so a retry never buys twice. Renewals, DNS, nameservers and transfers have their own routes in the same REST API.

### Can I order domains today?

In the sandbox, yes. Live registration opens once the registrar connection is switched on for this deployment.

### Are premium names sold?

Not yet. A premium name is left out of search results, because one yearly price cannot also cover a premium renewal.

### What if a name could not be checked?

It comes back marked as unknown with its ordinary price, rather than as taken. Search again shortly.
